ARTHUR RICHARDSON – VIOLIN 1920
Arthur Richardson became a violin maker after learning wood carving in an early career as a pattern maker. He later became well known after meeting the Violist Lionel Tertis and a key part of the development and refinement of the Tertis model viola. This violin in excellent condition bearing the makers hand written label dated 1920 has an exceptionally good sound. The violin was purchased for use abroad.
