LABELLED CHARLES DUBOIS 1924

The name Charles Dubois is a Trade name adopted by Beare and Sons, who imported Violins etc., from the better French and German trade makers up in to the early part of the 20th century. This instrument was imported by Beare & Sons from Markneukirchen and bears a label dated 1924.

The violin is in near mint condition and was varnished to give appearance of antiquity. The violin has a good, solid and mellow sound.
