A Viola scroll repair of damage and missing material. Before, during and after.
A violin neck graft and bushing – before and after retouching

A violin whose corner was knocked off. I re set the corner and retouched the varnish as needed.

An English violin on which I grafted a new neck, bushed the pegbox, plus some repair to the pegbox cheek. Before, during and after the varnish retouching.

A stunning violin by J B Vuillaume, in the workshop for a set up and voicing. This violin is modelled after Paganini’s Guarneri del Gesu, Il Cannone.

Cello – pegbox bushing to reduce oversized and worn peg holes. Fitting of new pegs.

A violin by Giovanni Paolo Maggini – a couple of very old pegbox repairs had failed. I removed the old inner cheek doubling and fitted a new and feathered liner. New peg bushings, varnish retouching and new Hansel pegs fitted.

Cello bridge. From blank to fitted.
